I'm not five feet outside the ICU door when I bump into Larry. He holds a giant customized smoothie from one of those fancy health shops. It probably cost more than the food Judson packs for the rest of the week.

"Watch it, man,” he says, narrowing his eyes. The last word morphs into the Memphis heard slang of mane. "I'll bash your face in if you spill my drink."

I duck my head and scoot around him. This isn't the pissing contest I'm willing to get soaked over. Larry snickers, victorious and reveling in his no-prize of false domination. By the time I round the corner, he has pushed his mop and bucket into a room and shut the door behind him. Glancing around for the security guard, I smack Judson's ID card against the electronic pad for the Pharmacy. I would use mine, but I bet my card only copied the front door frequency, not the interior ones.

A green light flashes. The click of the door unlocking salivates my mouth.

Time check: I now have roughly three minutes. I dash to the closest computer. It's already booted up but requires a password. I flip over the keyboard and find a note taped to it:

Dolph, don’t forget I changed the password to 1SierraPapa. I've always said the easiest part of hacking is harnessing people's stupidity.

Does everyone in this industry do this?

The Pharmacy's software is fairly user-friendly and easy to navigate. I find where my anti-seizure medications are stored and run to the shelves. After grabbing two bottles of each drug, I return to the computer and delete those from the database.

I check the system for backups.

I find none.

I could have fun here...

Shaking my head, I log off and dart down the hall. Time is running out.

I dart back into the room just before my timer goes off, to find Judson staring down.

Right where I'd taken his RFID badge from.
